Rev. Dr. Alexander Louis Medina is a seasoned attorney, strategist, and humanitarian with over 40 years of experience in law, housing, community development, and nonprofit leadership.
He holds a Juris Doctor (JD), a PhD in Religion, a Doctor of Divinity (DD), and certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Medina is known for bridging legal expertise with visionary leadership.
His experience includes: • Coordinating over $20 million in urban housing redevelopment for the City of Pompano Beach • Teaching more than 400 individuals and nonprofit leaders in HUD compliance, HOME, and CDBG programs • Managing family-owned businesses, including Import Export Livestock Corporation, for over two decades • Assisting more than eight nonprofit organizations in securing grants and IRS 501(c)(3) status • Overseeing multi-site commercial and residential property operations across Florida and Virginia • Serving as a legal consultant in real estate, customs, and international trade
Now based in Floyd County, Virginia, Dr. Medina has committed TALM International to building a replicable model of affordable housing and empowerment—starting locally and scaling globally.
